THIRD RSPB SURVEY 2014

This morning the volunteers from the RSPB walked round the fields, the following birds were seen:- Curlew, Lapwings, Oyster Catchers, red shank, Snipe, Pied wagtail, swallows, house martins, sand martins, great tit, chaffinch, song thrush, grey partridge, chiff chaff, blackbirds, rolls, wrens, robins along with numerous Brown Hares and 2 Roe Deer. This is the final survey, we look forward to seeing them again next year.

RSPB SURVEY 2nd visit 2014

On Sunday morning, 18th May, the volunteers from the RSPB team walked rounds our farm on an early morning survey of the birds. They saw the following birds:- Curlew, Lapwings, Redshank, Oyster Catchers, Pied Wagtails, Chaffinch, Goldfinch, Grey Partridges, Chaff Chaff, Swallows, House Martins, Sand Martins, Robin, Wren, pheasants, House Sparrows, along with numerous Brown Hares and Roe Deer. The final walk round will be held in 2 weeks.

RSPB Survey 2014

This morning 2 observers walked round the fields on the farm to look at the birds. The following birds were seen:- Lapwings, curlews, oyster catchers, redshank, tawny owl, chiff chaff, pied wagtail, sand martins, chaffinch, goldfinch, great tits, mallard ducks, swallows, great spotted Woodpecker, many hares and a roe deer.
