Early this morning 2 volenteers from the RSPB walked round the fields at Broadgate Farm as part of this years lapwing survey. They saw some interesting sightings including the following birds:- Curlews, Lapwings, Snipe, Oyster Catchers, Whimbrels, a Greater Spotted Woodpecker, Jays, Long Tailed Tits, a Buzzard, Cahffinches, and Chiff Chaffs. They also saw many pheasants, partridge and hares.
